American Interplex Corporation was founded in 1972 and has been operated under the same ownership since 1974. Services include: ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING & BIOMONITORING ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY Sampling and Field Services are also provided.

As the largest private laboratory in Arkansas, American Interplex Corporation pioneered rapid turnaround, high quality laboratory services in the area. American Interplex Corporation installed the first ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer) in Arkansas in 1986 and the first ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer) in 1999.

Our staff is skilled and experienced. With an average length of employment of over ten years, two-thirds of them carry undergraduate degrees or higher.

Another first for American Interplex Corporation was the introduction of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) to Arkansas. In 1992 our first system was placed in service and today we work with a custom designed LIMS and a full-time IT staff.
